Villa Sonnenberg, Lenzburg AG

Villa Sonnenberg in Lenzburg, Aargau, is a cultural asset of national value. It was built in 1769/70 by the bailiff of Bern, who resided at Lenzburg Castle.

The main building is complemented by a washhouse, a barn and a charming little pavilion. The ensemble of buildings is surrounded by greenery in the style of an English landscape garden.

On behalf of the client, Varem Development is realising the comprehensive renovation of the listed property together with experienced planning partners.

After the conversion, Villa Sonnenberg will be operated as a cultural inn. It allows cultural workers to stay longer, offers B&B-style accommodation as well as rooms for celebrations, conferences and networking meetings. All this in a natural, informal atmosphere filled with history.
