„Gallihof“ in Steffisburg / BE

In the middle of the village center of Steffisburg, Varem, together with its partner M&K Architektur AG and the Thun-based architectural team of Akkurat Bauatelier GmbH, is developing the hostel of the historic Gallihof. With a lot of consideration for the historical conditions, a low-car settlement with three building volumes is created. In hybrid construction with wooden facades, green flat roofs and modern building technology such as geothermal probe and PV system, a future-oriented small settlement is created, which allows sustainable living in a park-like environment in the center. 3 buildings with 1 and 2.5, as well as 3.5 and 4.5 room apartments are being built.
